Requirements

Experience in a restaurant, banquet, or high-volume kitchen.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with a range of cooking techniques.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours.

Nice To Haves

A Safe Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset.
Culinary Trade Certification or a Red Seal designation is an asset.
Genuine interest in food and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

Prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Set up, stock, and maintain your station throughout service.
Keep work areas and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
Follow food handling, storage, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Assist with food preparation, plating, restaurant service, and special events.
Work with the culinary team to provide timely, consistent service.
Support your colleagues and help the kitchen run smoothly during busy periods.
Participate in training, team meetings, and ongoing learning.
Prepare each dish with care, accuracy, and pride.
