Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills to work as a team member
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and professional-grade kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of health and sanitation regulations
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous culinary experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking. This will often involve washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing these ingredients
  • Uses various kitchen equipment - including ovens, broilers, grills, slicers, and blenders - to prepare dishes
  • Ensures cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. This may involve cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as the cooking surfaces
  • Helps in setting up the banquet hall, including the arrangement for food, silverware, and plateware
  • Manage the storage and rotation of food supplies in accordance with safety standards
