About The Position
The DaMar Team is actively seeking out cooks for assisted living facilities located in the Indianapolis Metro area. This medical facility offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing meals using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets, with an emphasis on presentation. The role requires adherence to local Department of Health regulations and company policies, as well as inspecting food deliveries for accuracy and quality.
Requirements
- Able to follow a recipe and have basic cooking skills.
- Understanding of kitchen, safety, and sanitation.
- Neat in appearance and professional behavior.
- Organized with ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
