About The Position
The Countrypolitan Restaurant, located inside the Hotel Indigo in downtown Nashville, is a made-from-scratch restaurant serving seasonal local and regional fare with a Southern gastropub feel. The restaurant features craft cocktails made with fresh ingredients, local small-batch beers, and live music 7 days a week. We are hiring an Evening Line Cook to help run the kitchen, be part of the team, and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
Requirements
- 2+ years restaurant experience required
Responsibilities
- Prepare food with quality standards
- Report emergencies, accidents, injuries, and safety hazards to management
- Report any deviation of policies and procedures to management
- Know the hotel grounds and services to assist guests as needed
- Impress guests with quality and timely service
- Monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
- Use a variety of cooking methods
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes
- Use supplies and equipment safely and responsibly
- Have a positive attitude with visitors and staff
