About The Position

As a Line Cook in our 54 Kitchen, you will play a key role in executing our menu with consistency, speed, and care. You will work on the line during service, preparing dishes to spec, maintaining a clean and organized station, and supporting the kitchen team in delivering an excellent guest experience. This is an hourly, full-time position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to high standards of food quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
  • Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, etc.)
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, including proper food handling and storage
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, prep lists, and tickets accurately
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds as required
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, plating guidelines, and portion controls
  • Set up, stock, and break down your station before, during, and after each shift
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Properly handle, label, rotate, and store all food products to minimize waste and ensure freshness
  • Collaborate with other line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with the expo, servers, and fellow cooks during service
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to restaurant standards
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen-handling procedures
  • Assist with prep work, inventories, and other back-of-house tasks as assigned
  • Follow opening, closing, and cleaning checklists and complete any assigned side work
