About The Position
Turtleback Mountain Golf and Resort, located in Elephant Butte, NM, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in the kitchen.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties (e.g., communicating with English-speaking customers or co-workers; equipment manuals are in English).
Responsibilities
- Prepares food products for restaurant and banquet operations to ensure quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
- Prepares sufficient quantities of food in accordance with production plans or forecasted needs
- Utilizes whole food products while minimizing waste
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
- Alerts chef or supervisor of equipment issues, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
- Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as needed for daily production
- Ensures proper storage of food items, including wrapping, dating, and rotating products
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
