About The Position

We are seeking dependable, hardworking Line Cooks to join the culinary team at our private country club. Whether you're an experienced cook or looking to grow your culinary skills, we'd love to hear from you. Meet the Chef Executive Chef Mike Bush, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, brings more than 20 years of country club culinary leadership experience. Known for his award-winning work, mentorship, and commitment to excellence, he was named a Club + Resort Chef 40 Under 40 honoree in 2025 and the St. Louis Chefs de Cuisine Association's Chef of the Year in 2026. Under his leadership, Meadowbrook was recognized among Club + Resort Chef's Top 20 Culinary Experiences in 2022. Requirements

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Able to work safely and efficiently in a hot kitchen environment
• Capable of bending, reaching, and performing other physical kitchen tasks throughout the shift

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock workstations before service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Work efficiently during busy meal services while maintaining attention to detail
• Assist with food preparation, storage, and kitchen closing duties
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests
