About The Position

McMenamins Sunnyside Pub is hiring for a Line Cook! McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. As a line cook, you will handle all tasks from opening to closing the kitchen, including the preparation and presentation of hot and cold food products such as salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, and sauté & grill items. You will be responsible for organizing and cleaning your work area. This role requires physical stamina, mental agility, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cooking experience is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred.
• Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all tasks from opening to closing of the kitchen.
• Manufacture and present all hot & cold food products, including salads, hot & cold sandwiches, pastas, hot & cold appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, and sauté & grill items.
• Organize and clean your work area.
