We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team on the dinner shift. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals that meet our high standards for food quality, safety, and presentation. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and kitchen operations will help ensure our guests start their day with a satisfying and memorable meal.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling practices
- Experience with food industry standards including grilling, braising, poaching, and general cooking techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under high-volume production conditions
- Excellent knife skills with attention to recipe adherence and meal presentation
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, poaching stations, braising pots, and other appliances
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Handle food production tasks such as food handling, food prep, and portioning for high-volume service
- Maintain knife skills and culinary techniques to ensure precision in food presentation
- Support dietary department needs by adhering to dietary restrictions and special meal requests
