The Line Cook is responsible for participating in all training sessions, studying provided training material, and providing leadership through changes by identifying and overcoming obstacles. This role supports the Head Chef and Sous Chef in implementing menu items, assisting with special events, and setting up necessary supplies. The Line Cook prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces, and cooks food items using various methods to specified recipes and standards, ensuring high quality of plate presentation and proper food temperature. They also assist with ordering, training new employees, and performing other tasks as assigned, including representing Chandon professionally.
