About The Position
Line Cook team members work in Chili’s Heart of House kitchen and help set the pace for a great shift. They provide dependable, fast service while preparing food according to Chili’s standards. The role involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and coordinating with other team members to keep orders moving.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and follow all recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to team members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
