Savoy Pizzeria & Craft Bar, located in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook with open availability to join their kitchen team. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook (2–3 years strongly preferred)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Familiarity with high-volume, scratch kitchens and attention to detail
  • Ability to work all stations, including grill, sauté, and prep
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
  • Ability to follow recipes, plating standards, and prep instructions with precision
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-focused environment
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • A passion for food and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wood-fired pizzas or Italian cuisine is a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes to order, including wood-fired pizzas, Italian entrees, and appetizers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times
  • Follow recipes and plating specifications to ensure consistency and quality
  • Assist with daily prep tasks, including chopping, butchering, and sauce preparation
  • Rotate and store ingredients properly to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment and stations are in good working order
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and fellow cooks to ensure smooth service
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment focused on teamwork and growth
