About The Position

We are looking for a reliable, energetic Cook to join our team and help deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and plays a key part in creating a positive dining experience for our residents and guests.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of kitchen or cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service mindset
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work weekends and holidays
  • Current food handler's permit (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate meals according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and portion control guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining room staff
  • Assist with meal planning, special events, and dietary accommodations
  • Monitor inventory and notify leadership of supply needs
  • Support dining operations as needed (serving, bussing, dishwashing, room service)
  • Adapt quickly to changing needs, including troubleshooting food shortages
