About The Position

The Hilton Bellevue is currently seeking a qualified Line Cook to join our busy team at Solarium Kitchen + Bar. This role involves preparing food items, communicating with guests and team members, and maintaining a clean work area. The Line Cook will also assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ year food prep and line cook experience
• Current and valid Food Handler's permit, along with a good understanding of food safety and health code rules
• The ability to communicate and respond with members at all levels of the organization
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and mid shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous banquet or large event experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Wash, cut and prepare items to be used in the preparation of a variety of food items
• Effectively communicate with Kitchen and restaurant teams, to ensure a seamless guest experience and high guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Prepare ingredients as instructed, and in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist dishwashing team with washing and sorting dishes, general cleaning of the kitchen, and trash removal, as needed
