About The Position

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Line Cook at Lutheran Community at Telford! Schedule: 11am-7pm including every other weekend! The Lutheran Community at Telford, a Grace Inspired Living community in Telford, PA, is seeking a passionate and talented Line Cook to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to create delicious and nutritious meals in a supportive and engaging environment, directly impacting the well-being of our residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of a culinary arts program through a vo-tech school.
• 1-2 years of food preparation and cooking experience in a CCRC or long-term care industry is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate's Degree from a culinary school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold food items, following recipes and production sheets.
• Ensure the highest quality of food is served.
• Achieve customer satisfaction with the food prepared.
• Read, understand, and follow recipes and production sheets.
• Adjust recipes as needed and ensure correct portion sizes are served.
• Utilize wholesome ingredients and maintain food storage areas properly.
• Follow safety precautions when using and cleaning equipment.
• Adhere to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean work station throughout the day.
• Deliver and serve food to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor food and refrigeration temperatures for quality assurance.
