About The Position

Touchmark in the West Hills, a premier full-service retirement community, is hosting a Dining Hiring Event for Line Cooks and Servers. This event offers a chance to meet chefs, tour the kitchen, and interview on the spot. Requirements

  • Commitment to Touchmark’s values: excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for extended periods.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Willingness to work weekends and occasional holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Sauté, grill, pasta, and fish experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate meals with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Exercise creativity and maintain the Gold Standard in presentation.
  • Educate residents and team members about healthy food options.
  • Support both day and evening service with consistency and care.
  • Greet residents and guests by name to create a welcoming experience.
  • Take orders, answer menu questions, and serve meals and beverages.
  • Ensure the dining room is clean, attractive, and running smoothly.
  • Provide excellent hospitality during daily meals and special events.
