About The Position

Culinary Cultivations is seeking experienced Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Kitchen Leads to join their independent contractor team. Contractors will provide professional back-of-house support to a variety of clients across West Michigan, offering flexibility and control over their work schedule. This role is ideal for culinary professionals looking to supplement their income without a traditional part-time or full-time commitment. Team members select shifts based on availability from posted opportunities, which can include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and special events. Client types include colleges and universities, hotels and event venues, assisted living and healthcare facilities, and private events and catering clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow food safety standards and kitchen protocols

  • Experience in full-service restaurants
  • Experience in catering or event kitchens
  • Experience in assisted living or healthcare kitchens
  • ServSafe Food certification

Responsibilities
