About The Position

Mimmo’s Italian Restaurant in Essex is looking for an experienced Line Cook / Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. Starting at $23/hour, based on experience, plus tips for closing shifts. We’re looking for someone dependable who is comfortable working in a busy kitchen and can handle line cooking and/or pizza. Experience with sauté, grill, pasta, pizza, or multiple stations is a big plus. Mimmo’s has been serving Vermont since 1995 and the Essex community since 2003. We’re looking for someone who wants steady work, takes pride in putting out good food, and works well as part of a team. Schedule : Most shifts begin around 2:00–3:00 PM and run until approximately 8:00 PM or closing. Good Monday–Saturday availability is preferred. Additional hours and shifts may become available as we expand our operating schedule.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant kitchen experience.
• Line cooking and/or pizza experience.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy dinner service.
• Good organization and multitasking skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to prep, stock, clean, and maintain your station.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and help where needed.
• Must currently live within reasonable commuting distance of Essex, Vermont.
