About The Position

Ted's Montana Grill is seeking Line Cooks/Prep Cooks/Dishwashers for their team. This is not an ordinary restaurant, and they are not looking for ordinary people. Ted's Montana Grill prides itself on its premium, polished, and professional atmosphere, while also being cool. They operate by "The Big Sky Spirit," which serves as their cultural compass. In the kitchens, they focus on premium food cooked from scratch, with menu items made in small batches for freshness and flavor. They have an on-premise butcher shop where meat is hand-carved and ground daily. Heart-of-House team members are highly valued. A TMG Line Cook/Prep Cook prepares made-from-scratch food, displays showmanship, and interacts with guests in display kitchens.

Requirements

  • Full-service restaurant kitchen experience is desired.
  • Great team player.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Passionate about great food!
  • Stands during entire shift.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and lifting.
  • Lifts and carries tubs, trays, and cases weighing up to 100 lbs. up to 20 times per shift.
  • Frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity and extreme cold.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares made-from-scratch food.
  • Displays showmanship in the kitchen.
  • Interacts with guests in display kitchens.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
