Responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen. This role involves assisting with preparing meals for Haven residents Monday-Sunday, as well as meals for satellite services, adhering to TDA and USDA meal requirements. The position also includes packing, loading, and transporting community meals, maintaining kitchen equipment and sanitation standards, managing inventory, and potentially instructing trainees and volunteers. The Line Chef will also assist with catering events and maintain program files.
