About The Position

The Line Check Pilot (LCP) is responsible for ensuring that Company Flight Crewmembers have met the Company competency standards before they are released from line training. They also ensure that standards are maintained while Flight Crewmembers remain in line service. Check Pilots report to the Flight Standards Manager. The Flight Standards Manager will, through the Flight Standards Review Board and other Safety Management Systems, communicate all line, training, or fleet considerations to Line Check Pilots for implementation.

Requirements

  • Current and qualified Captain at Endeavor Air
  • Minimum of 250 hours of PIC time at Endeavor Air
  • Consideration may be given for previous experience on a case-by-case basis with joint FAA approval.
  • Must have a clean training record including no more than one training failure in the last five years
  • Must not currently be enrolled in the Enhanced Oversight Program (EOP)
  • Ability to complete the initial Line Check Pilot (LCP) training including: Instructor Indoctrination, Line Check Pilot ground training, AIT Training, Right Seat SIM training, LOE Observation, Line Training to include Initial OE Observation and Line training with a Lead LCP, FAA Observation Flights

Responsibilities

  • Conducts qualification curriculum segments and Line Checks in accordance with Company approved training program.
  • Conducts Operational Experience (OE) in the Company’s approved training program.
  • Maintains all qualifications as Pilot-In-Command and completes normal line duties as assigned.
  • Maintains right seat qualification.
  • Attends annual Flight Standardization meetings as scheduled.
  • Work alongside OE Scheduling to ensure that Pilots in Training receive the most effective Line Training.
  • Certifies the satisfactory proficiency and knowledge of Flight Crew members after the completion of flight training curriculum segments.
