About The Position
Join Litehouse as a Line Attendant/Production Worker! This role involves packaging and stacking product and materials according to product specifications. Litehouse Foods is a 100% employee-owned food manufacturing company with an outstanding reputation. We are a leader in refrigerated salad dressings, dips, sauces, herbs, and cheese, manufacturing these products at our four U.S. facilities. We keep a strong commitment to our employees and the communities in which we operate. The Line Attendant I packages and stacks product and materials according to product specifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred
- Ability to be on your feet for the majority of a shift
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends, as necessary
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Assemble containers
- Efficiently package products using state-of-the-art machinery
- Ensure every item meets the highest quality standards
- Palletizing
- Inspections
- Utilize software systems that keep operations running smoothly
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Adhere to Food Safety policies
- Report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor
