About The Position

This position is responsible for packing finished wafer products and visual inspection of wafers. The role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP), maintaining a clean work area, and effective communication with team members. The position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, standing, and walking for up to 12 hours per day. The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, climb, reach, and use stairs is also necessary.

Requirements

• Able to read, understand, and strictly follow written procedures
• Good understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)
• Must be organized and maintain work area to a high level of cleanliness
• Able to identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessary
• Must be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team members
• Follow direction and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervision
• Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
• Must have demonstrated a good work record and attendance

Responsibilities

• Pack wafers into packaging for shipping
• Hand pack cookies
• Monitors quality of finished product and communicates problems to Wrapper Operator
• Sets up packaging to prepare for packing and shipping
• May stack finished goods
• Records wafer production reports
• Applies labels on packing materials
• Other duties as assigned
