About The Position

As a LIMS developer, you can design a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment using an enterprise level LIMS platform. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development with a commercial-off-the-shelf laboratory information management system.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications, including modules and forms, or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 15+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing software changes in a STARLIMS laboratory information management system.
  • Experience with system administration and maintenance, including creating new environments, installing patches and upgrades, maintaining application uptime, and troubleshooting errors.
  • Experience developing system integrations using REST APIs.
  • Ability to support automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.

  • Create software solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team of testers, business analysts, and subject matter experts.
