About The Position

This position is responsible for taking radiological images and pushing the images through the system. The role involves operating medical equipment, positioning patients and equipment safely, and explaining procedures to patients. Adherence to radiation safety regulations is crucial for protecting patients, coworkers, and oneself. Expectations include maintaining confidentiality, following the chain of command, prioritizing tasks, and completing them in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• California Limited Technologist (LT) license with skull license required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an Orthopedic Practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating the medical equipment used to capture x-ray images.
• Positioning the patient and the equipment in a way that protects patient and employee safety.
• Explaining x-ray procedures to patients.
• Following regulations for protecting patients, coworkers, and themselves from unnecessary exposure to radiation.
