They are looking for a Limited Maintenance Electrician to be responsible for all maintenance throughout the plant, including repairing and maintaining a wide range of processing equipment. Requirements

Current Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) License issued by the State of Washington
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480v, 3 phase.
Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Experience maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment in an automated plant including experience in electro-mechanical/multi-craft/multi-skilled Maintenance practices.
Strong mechanical background in a production setting troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, conveyors, sprocket/chains, belts, clutches, and brakes.
Knowledgeable in use of all power tools, hand tools, welders, drill presses, etc.
Experience with control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, push buttons, contactors, motors, motor starters, single and three phase electrical components, transformers, etc.
Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, procedure manuals and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to work from drawings, schematics, sketches and through verbal communication.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment on assigned projects/tasks and report to supervision the status of each as needed.
Willing to work shift schedules plus overtime as dictated by the needs of the business, including weekends and holidays.
Practical problem solving skills and ability to deal with a variety of variables.
Ability to learn and understand the principles of the BBU Maintenance and Manufacturing Transformation, including lean tools, process capability and operational discipline.
Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
Performs highly repetitive motions, stand for eight plus hours.
Ability to climb ladders, stairways, use a manlift/scissor lift at ceiling heights or above with proper safety equipment and work in non-air conditioned environment.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to meet all physical demands listed in the job description.

Nice To Haves

Food plant experience preferred.
Training and experience in use of Allen Bradley and Square D PLC's, VFD's, HMI, servos, etc. is a plus.
Strong plus if trained and experienced in compressed air systems, Boilers and Hydraulics.

Responsibilities

Ensuring equipment integrity and timely repair.
Supporting the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to reduce unscheduled downtime.
Analyzing problems and interpreting technical information to make required repairs (troubleshooting of equipment issues).
Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions and validate work performed.
Ensuring safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, Lock-out/Tag-out, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), personal safety standards, food safety standards, and OSHA standards.
Troubleshooting PLC controlled equipment and all plant electrical and mechanical systems (motors, instrumentation, distribution, feed control systems) and developing sustainable solutions.
Completing all assigned work orders within the allotted time.
Maintaining complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs.
Assisting with equipment changeovers and line startups, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Identifying required parts and maintaining current inventories and parts reorder lists.
Ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest standard of quality.
Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives, providing suggestions to improve processes, and participating in team projects.
Performing other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
