About The Position
OrthoVirginia is seeking a Limited License Radiologic Technologist to work in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment. The technologist produces high-quality diagnostic images to help providers diagnose injuries and conditions while supporting an exceptional patient experience. The role works alongside providers and clinical staff in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. The stated schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
Requirements
- Current Virginia Limited Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and obtain high-quality digital images.
- Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively.
- Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and correct patient identification.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and industry best practices to minimize exposure.
- Maintain examination rooms and imaging equipment for compliance and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and team members to deliver patient care.
- Assist with additional clinical and departmental responsibilities as needed.
