About The Position
AGRILAND FS is seeking a highly organized individual to apply limestone (dry application) to farm fields across a multiple-county trade territory. This role involves operating a company vehicle and working independently with opportunities to assist with other agronomy, propane, and fuel operations. The position offers paid CDL and equipment training, with varied work assignments throughout the week and season. Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Minimum license of a Class A CDL
- Strong work ethic and stable employment history
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Some mechanical aptitude with good math and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing along with a background check
Nice To Haves
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate a dry spreader to apply limestone to farm fields
- Set up equipment to complete assigned work
- Complete paperwork to document and bill work achieved
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist with chemical application and maintenance when not applying limestone
