About The Position

VFC Lightning Protection is hiring motivated individuals for a major, long-term project in Eagle Mountain, UT. Since 1986, VFC has been a leader in protecting buildings, infrastructure, and lives from lightning. This role offers top-tier training, exceptional project pay, and the chance to build a career that makes an impact. The project is expected to last approximately two years, after which successful candidates can transition into a standard Installer role with a traditional travel schedule.

Requirements

Commitment to a premier 2-year project local to Eagle Mountain.
Must be 18+ years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a medical exam and drug test.
Licensed driver with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
Physically fit: able to lift up to 80 lbs. and work comfortably on rooftops and ladders.
Honest, hardworking, and a team player who enjoys working outdoors.

Nice To Haves

Construction or electrical experience is a HUGE plus.

Responsibilities

Installing lightning protection systems on high roofs and specialized grounding projects.
Reading blueprints and construction plans to ensure top-tier installations.
Handling and installing lightning protection cables.
Ensuring all work complies with onsite safety regulations.
Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
Tackling other duties as assigned.

Benefits

Excellent Earning Potential — $20.80/hr base starting pay + a $10.00/hr incentive pay bump for the duration of this project (Approx. 2 years) = $30.80/hr to start!
