About The Position

Got Light, a special event design and production company, is seeking a Lighting Warehouse Associate. This role is responsible for the accurate pick, pack, and pull of technical equipment for special events. Key duties include equipment testing, quality control, product cleanliness, safely loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and transportation of equipment to and from venues or vendors. The associate will also help maintain the workspace and common areas of the warehouse, upholding the company's brand integrity through cleanliness and proper presentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in live event lighting production, entertainment technology, warehouse operations, or another fast-paced, related environment.
  • Working knowledge of professional lighting equipment, including conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event and production schedules.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Continual standing and/or walking without limitations up to 10 hours daily.
  • Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy, unheated, and not air-conditioned.
  • Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lighting fixture programming is required; knowledge of lighting network fundamentals is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical power systems and temporary event power distribution is a plus.
  • Previous experience driving 16'–24' box trucks is strongly preferred.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse material handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist a team to pick, pack, and pull technical equipment for special events.
  • Read detailed technical equipment pull lists in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Deliver and pick up event equipment to and from venues and vendors.
  • Uphold the integrity of the company brand, cleanliness, and immaculate presentation.
  • Perform equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs.
  • Perform soldering, cable termination, and basic electronics maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
