About The Position

Stones River Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial Lighting & Electrical Technician with 2–3 years of hands-on field experience. This role focuses on the installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits. The position offers competitive hourly rates based on experience and supports the company's growing national operations.

Requirements

• 2-3 years Experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders
• Comfortable with heights
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field
• Comfortable using basic technology (iPad, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR

Responsibilities

• Installation of commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.
• Preventive maintenance of commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.
• Troubleshooting of commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.
• Manage workload in the field independently.
