About The Position
Under the direction of the Lead Lighting Technician, assigned lead or supervisor, the incumbent provides complete technical support for all entertainment related events property wide. Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of advanced lighting systems. Must have working knowledge of theatrical lighting, computerized lighting consoles, and electrical concepts. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of theatrical lighting, computerized lighting consoles, and electrical concepts.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of technical entertainment production experience, or a bachelor degree in a related field.
- Well versed in production/theater terminology.
- Familiar with DMX and sACN data distribution methods.
Responsibilities
- Provides complete technical support for all entertainment related events property wide.
- Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of advanced lighting systems.
- Troubleshoot and assist in the repair of advanced lighting systems.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
