About The Position

At INSPIRE, we provide high-quality technology, skilled technicians, and a creative vision that enables our clients to communicate effectively at their conferences, meetings, and events, while focusing on building trusting and lasting relationships through professional and personalized service. We are currently seeking a full-time Audio Visual Lighting Technician II (L2) to work at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. We will consider applicants with experience in Event Technology who wish to pursue a career in lighting in a live events environment, working with stage lighting fixtures, dimming, and console programming. If you can thrive in a customer-service-oriented, hospitality environment, have a can-do attitude, and can meet or exceed the job responsibilities, we would love to speak with you.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients, both internal and external.
Maintain a professional image in compliance with the company's appearance/dress code.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Strong computer skills

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred
CAD or Vectorworks a plus
Experience in the Event Technology field working in a hotel/convention center environment.
Demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career in live events through relevant work or volunteer experience, or education in an Event Technology field.
Basic knowledge of live event stage lighting and the ability to learn and master new equipment and systems.
Excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized, have a professional demeanor, and be efficient in the use of time management.
