We have an opening for a Lighting Quotations Specialist to play a critical role in our project business. This position is responsible for developing accurate, competitive lighting quotations while partnering closely with sales, customers, and manufacturers to drive project success.

Requirements

Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and operate with urgency
Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay structured in a high-volume environment
Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to shifting priorities
Clear and proactive communicator with both internal teams and external partners
Committed to continuous improvement and finding more efficient ways to work
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF tools (Adobe/Nitro)

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of experience in lighting, electrical distribution, quoting, or a related project-based role preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy or deadlines
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate options and make sound decisions quickly
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers
High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over your work
Experience with Solar Eclipse or similar systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Own the quotation process from initial review through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness
Analyze project specifications to identify cost-effective lighting solutions without compromising quality or performance
Partner with sales teams to prioritize opportunities, align on strategy, and meet critical deadlines
Communicate proactively with customers to clarify scope, manage expectations, and support project needs
Collaborate with manufacturers and rep agencies to secure pricing, product details, and lead times
Manage multiple quotes simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks within project specifications and take action to resolve them
Track, update, and maintain all quotation documentation with a high level of organization and accountability
Stay informed on market trends, product changes, and pricing strategies to remain competitive
