About The Position

Envocore, LLC is an established national leader in engineering, designing, and installing energy-efficient systems for government, commercial, industrial, educational, medical, institutional, and retail facilities across the United States. The Lighting/Electrical Technician performs skilled and semi-skilled work maintaining and retrofitting existing lighting fixtures, with installation of new fixtures and controls. The opportunity starts locally and later requires travel based on project duration; candidates must be willing to travel for work.

This is an hourly position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The company offers medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k), paid sick leave, company-paid short- and long-term disability, and weekly pay.

Requirements

• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to travel for work.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Retrofit existing lighting fixtures, including installing LED light bar kits, replacing fluorescent and LED lamps, changing socket bars and sockets, installing reflectors and door kits, and replacing pin- or screw-in lamps.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to retrofit, replace, and repair lighting fixtures.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and staging materials when needed.
• Move company vehicles.
• Work on elevated platforms, including ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and other mechanized equipment.
• Install new fixtures and controls.
• Travel for work as required by project duration.
