Are you ready to design your future? Be our next Lighting Designer! In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation electrical team based in Brampton office.
Requirements
- Minimum of (3) years continuous experience in detailed design.
- Experience in lighting calculation of Highways, Municipal Roadways, Parking lots, underpass, Tunnels, pedestrian Multi use paths.
- Knowledge of IES-RP-21.
- Experience with advanced lighting design tools (AGi32 and Autolux).
- Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed lighting and electrical designs and drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Conduct detailed calculations such as illumination to ensure that designs meet relevant engineering standards and applicable codes.
- Perform complete lighting analysis using AGi32 or Autoluxfor roadway and site lighting projects.
- Design lighting systems including lighting panel schedules, lighting poles and base details, photometric layouts, and luminaire schedules.
- Preparing Contract documents, including specifications and cost estimates.
