Requirements

  • Pursing a bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or Architectural Engineering
  • Must be at a minimum in your second year of bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency and/or knowledge in the latest version of AutoCAD
  • Experience or basic knowledge of REVIT
  • Proficient and/or knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite
  • Proficient and/or knowledge in AGI lighting calculation software
  • Proficient and/or knowledge in PhotoShop

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lighting internship or co-op experience, significant benefit

Responsibilities

  • Support our lighting design team develop designs that are inspiring, creative, demanding and highly collaborative.
  • Assist designers in preparing design documentation
  • Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of lighting design systems
  • Assist designers with design calculations utilizing AGI software
  • Participate with designers in field investigations and construction site visits to observe and verify compliance with design documents
  • Assist designers with developing conceptual lighting design presentations utilizing photoshop software
  • Participation in industry events
  • Participate in lighting design lunch & learns with lighting manufacturers
