About The Position

Antonucci Wholesale Foods LLC, dba Hudson Harvest, is a wholesale, regional food distributor that sells local and seasonal food to restaurants, retailers, and institutions. We distribute to customers throughout New York State, including the four boroughs, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and Northern New York. We also deliver to NJ, CT, PA, and MA. Requirements

EXPERIENCED non-CDL box truck driver
Experience in route and delivery driving, particularly in the four boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to handle heavy lifting
Valid and clean driver's license (NON-CDL)
Must have an active DOT Medical Card
Ability to operate a pallet jack and other unloading equipment
Proficient in route driving and navigation
Strong physical stamina for lifting
Must drive box trucks in NYC
Proven experience in safe commercial driving -- CDL not required
Familiarity with operating box trucks and making deliveries to various addresses
Ability to lift objects and perform physical tasks
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws

Responsibilities

Four-day workweek
Days start between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
Trucks loaded and ready to go
Safely drive automatic transmission box trucks to transport and deliver food products
Unload cargo
Follow specific routes and time schedules
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Must drive in four of the five boroughs
Use our software to ensure proper logs of your work
Predictable schedules
Provide excellent customer service
