About The Position

PNY Technologies is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Light Truck Driver to support the transportation of products, materials, and customer shipments between company facilities, distribution centers, vendors, and customer locations. This role ensures deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations. The ideal candidate has experience operating commercial vehicles, values professionalism and customer service, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, safety, and accountability throughout the delivery process.

Requirements

Valid driver's license (CDL not required).
Minimum age of 21 years old.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one upon hire.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds as needed.
Experience operating box trucks, delivery vans, or other commercial vehicles.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, warehousing, or delivery operations.
Experience handling high-value, time-sensitive, or customer-critical shipments.
Familiarity with GPS navigation, route planning, and electronic transportation records.
Experience working with shipping documentation, manifests, or inventory tracking systems.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Operate company-owned box trucks and light commercial vehicles to transport products and materials safely and efficiently.
Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries while adhering to established routes and delivery timelines.
Verify shipment accuracy and ensure all materials are properly secured during transport.
Obtain and maintain required delivery documentation, signatures, and records.
Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
Handle products and materials safely to prevent damage during transportation and delivery.
Ensure vehicles are loaded in accordance with safety and weight requirements.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and transportation procedures.
Follow all applicable Hours of Service (HOS) requirements and company recordkeeping practices.
Maintain a professional driving record and operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
Serve as a professional representative of PNY Technologies during deliveries and pickups.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, customers, and business partners.
Report delivery issues, delays, accidents, or service concerns promptly.
