The Light Maintenance Technician (LMT) provides essential support to the facility maintenance team, primarily assisting Electricians and General Maintenance Technicians. The main function of this role is to ensure senior technicians can perform their work efficiently and safely by acting as a ground person, holding ladders, moving tools and materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive approach to safety and awareness of surroundings
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including indoors, outdoors, and at heights
  • Requires manual dexterity and the ability to operate basic hand tools
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support Electricians and General Maintenance Technicians in their daily tasks
  • Work as a ground person, ensuring the safety of technicians working at heights
  • Securely hold and position ladders for other team members
  • Assist with the transport of tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
  • Help with site setup and cleanup before and after maintenance tasks
  • Perform minor maintenance duties as directed, such as changing light bulbs or assisting with basic repairs
  • Follow all company safety procedures and protocols without exception
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
