About The Position
Southwest Beverages is seeking a Light Industrial Worker in San Antonio, Texas, to support facility operations while plant equipment is being repaired. The role involves handling plastic preforms used in bottle production, moving materials, operating industrial power equipment, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, and performing general maintenance and warehouse duties. The position requires compliance with safety and sanitation requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with a 30-minute lunch break.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- 0–1 year of general work experience.
- Ability to operate a manual or powered pallet jack or lift product.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred.
- Prior warehouse, production, or equipment service experience.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- PIT/PIV certification preferred.
- At least one PIT/PIV-certified worker preferred per shift.
Responsibilities
- Handle plastic preforms used in bottle production.
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Assist with material movement as needed.
- Operate industrial power equipment.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Perform general maintenance and warehouse duties.
