About The Position
General laboring work, requiring some skills such as pipe laying, installing water services, replacing valves and, in emergencies, installing water meters and reading water meters. Will be able to operate a compressor, jack hammer, water pump, repair leaks, dig trenches by hand, tap water mains, drive truck, repair or replace street valves. Assist in repairing equipment and cleaning of the garage and stockroom. Be on call for emergencies and will do all work as assigned or required by the Superintendent.
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
- High school diploma, trade school education, or equivalent training and experience.
