About The Position

As our Cutter / Light Equipment Operator 2, you will maintain the flow of paper in a safe and efficient manner while operating box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. You will maintain a neat and organized work environment, perform checks on machine and truck and complete basic maintenance, and regularly check paper for product quality. You will adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures. You will be responsible for driving a 10ft box truck to and from the converting building, maintaining inventory for the cutting department, assisting the cutters as needed, and ensuring material is delivered to the pressroom in a timely manner while following all safety and quality control procedures. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30-50lbs, stand for 12 hours, and push/pull up to 1100lbs with use of manual pallet jack
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
May be exposed to controlled, non-toxic, chemical vapors or mists
Experience operating stand up forklifts and electric pallet jacks required
Must currently have and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1+ years’ experience driving a manually shifted 10ft box truck preferred
