About The Position
RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. This role involves operating offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment. The operator is responsible for setting up and adjusting machines for production runs, ensuring optimal operation through cleaning and lubrication, and troubleshooting issues. Depending on the role, there may be opportunities to coordinate crewmembers and train new team members.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment.
- Skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
- Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment.
- Set up and adjust machine and equipment for production runs.
- Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation.
- Troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed.
- Coordinate the assignment of crewmembers and provide training for new team members.
