About The Position
This position operates offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment. The role involves setting up and adjusting machines and equipment for production runs, as well as cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining machines to ensure optimal operation. The operator may also troubleshoot issues, submit maintenance requests, coordinate crew assignments, and provide training for new team members in new processes and lean methodologies.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
- Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
