About The Position
The Light Equipment Operator 2 - End of Line Utility position at Lakeside Book Company involves operating finishing and packaging equipment, setting up and adjusting machines for production, creating job packets, and entering final counts into software. The role requires verifying correct information at the start of the shift to complete the job. Intermediate computer skills are preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to read and follow job specifications
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
Nice To Haves
- Intermediate computer skills preferred
- Willingness to participate in cross-training, including achieving qualified status within the position and assuming responsibility as a backup for lateral and progressive roles, as needed.
