About The Position

The Light Duty Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair services on Chevrolet, GMC, and all makes and models. This role involves tasks such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, inspections of various vehicle components, and basic repairs. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with service advisors, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Continuous training and adherence to service procedures are expected.

Requirements

• Experience with oil and filter changes
• Experience with tire rotation and balancing
• Ability to inspect and replace filters, batteries, wipers
• Proficiency in multi-point vehicle inspections
• Knowledge of vehicle fluids
• Ability to inspect brakes, belts, hoses, tires, and suspension
• Skill in tire repair and mounting
• Ability to maintain accurate repair order documentation
• Good communication skills for interacting with service advisors
• Ability to keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Understanding of GM and dealership service procedures
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes on Chevrolet, GMC, and all makes and models
• Rotate and balance tires
• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and batteries
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, tires, and suspension components
• Perform tire repairs and mounting as needed
• Maintain accurate repair order documentation
• Communicate vehicle maintenance needs to service advisors
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all GM and dealership service procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and development
