About The Position

Vector Fleet Management, LLC is seeking an Automotive/Light Duty Mechanic to join their team in the Aurora, NC area. This is a full-time position with a steady job schedule, offering competitive compensation of up to $35/hr and an excellent benefits package, including paid time off and holidays starting from day one. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of proven Automotive or Light Duty Mechanic experience or graduation from a Trade School for Mechanics.
• Familiarity with all major components and functions including power unit, drive train, suspension, hydraulics, electrical, etc.
• Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

• CDL “A or B” is a real plus.
• Technical education in a related discipline with experience, or on the job experience that includes performing service and repair on vehicles and/or equipment components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM's and repairs on all types of powered equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and selected repairs on equipment involving major components and systems such as power unit, drive train, suspension, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Train and assist other mechanics in all areas.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment, including cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas.
