About The Position

We are looking to add Full Time Maintenance Technicians to our Quicklane Facility at New Brighton Ford. No experience is necessary. We will train the right candidate that has a willingness to learn! Our ideal candidate would like to work on cars or want to learn how to work on cars, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has great attention to detail skills. We also offer opportunities to advance to a Diagnostic Technician!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience preferred but will we train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Change oil
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance like brakes, struts, shocks and alignments
• Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
