About The Position

This is a part-time light duty cleaning position available in Hamilton, Upper James and Rymal. The role involves evening cleaning with starting times after 5 pm, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday for 2 hours per shift. This office cleaning position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 25 lb), standing, bending, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. The company is seeking serious, long-term minded employees to join their growing Cleaning Company.

Requirements

Communicate in English both written and verbally
Strong attention to detail
Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
Works well independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial

Responsibilities

General dusting, vacuuming, mopping
Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers
Emptying garbage and recycling
Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
Spot cleaning of walls and glass
Sanitizing touchpoints
Additional tasks as requested
Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies
